We bought this for our four door Defender. It was east to install. Keeps rifles and shotguns very secure. Very happy with it. We are planning on buying another for the back seat.

I really like the product but I feel that the gun butt pads should be included as part of the product. After I installed the gun mount I realized that it would be nice to have a place for the gun butts to be placed. I ordered from your website but found that the shipping was half as much as the product itself. This was very discouraging since I could have ordered those the first time when I ordered the gun mount. Your website should emphasize that the gun butt pads should be ordered with the main product, or, you should price the complete set.

Hidden Gun Mount

The Gun Mount is well-built and easy to mount. It worked okay with my shotguns, but I would not recommend it for hunting rifles with scopes. I would encourage Thumber Fab to build an extension system to accommodate rifles with scopes. That way, the clamps would work better to hold the gun in place and not put pressure on the scope.
