Thumper Fab originally started development of it's long travel kits for the CanAm Defender Limited Cab Model. After successfully developing, testing, and tuning a kit that works well with the heavier enclosed cab model, we then worked with other models in the Defender lineup to make sure this long travel kit added strength and greatly improved the ride quality. We wanted our Defender Limited to be much more of a trail rig. It's HOT in Texas and we love the A/C the Limited cab model offers. We wanted to enjoy the Defender year-round here and not lose out on the ride quality our other machines had on the trails. That is exactly what our suspension systems feature, a dual-purpose, work and trail off road vehicle! Fun for the family or friends.
When you select the kit options, we take the hassle out of pressing in your bushings and ball joints yourself. Utilizing our precision press operation, we are able to ensure your bushings and ball joints are correctly installed and not hammered or pressed in a way that would reduce their quality and lifespan. Precision install and the hard work done for you!

SUSPENSION SYSTEM
A boxed arm will give you increased torsional strength for the strongest control arm design kit possible. There is more to a Thumper Fab boxed control arm than meets the eye. Underneath the steel cladding is a skeleton design that adds strength exactly where you need it and saves weight. Strength is important but unnecessary weight increases your unsprung mass and reduces your shock’s ability to compensate. The Thumper Fab design adds strength, ground clearance, several inches, and reduces weight for optimal ride quality.

ZBROZ EXIT COILOVER SHOCKS
ZBROZ X1 Series EXIT Shocks take your ride to the next level of driving performance. Whether it’s racing through the mountain trails, high speed desert rally action or those challenging rock crawling lines, the X1 Series Exit Shocks offer easy compression adjustability at the turn of dial and up-to 2" of true suspension lift. These shocks are must haves!
OEM SHOCKS
When this option is selected, you can reuse your OEM shocks. You will still benefit in overall ride quality with your Long Travel Kit. You can always upgrade to our custom tuned ZBROZ EXIT Coil over Shocks at anytime.
AXLE OPTIONS
We make it EASY to install this entire kit! We provide complete Cobra Axle replacement axles with inner and outer CVs that come fully assembled. Both of these axles are COMPLETE with no need to disassemble and reassemble your OEM axles with longer bars.
