Destination Polaris Day 1 (Tuesday)
LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! The cast and filming crew arrived at The Thumper Fab headquarters early Tuesday morning, and we jumped right into filming. The first interview was with Jc Kester, explaining what Thumper Fab is and what all they have to offer, and what the 2022 Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 build would consist of and how it will all would take place. After the interview we took a scroll through the 65,000 sq.ft headquarters and blew the cast away. Started at the front with the fully automated tower, CNC Laser Machine and press brake, then onto the Robotic Press Brake Arm who we call 'Debra". Powder Coating, Audio, then off to the location where the filming would take place on the 2022 Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000
The Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 NorthStar Edition Ultimate was completely stripped down, no interior, no wheels, no tires, accessories, nothing! It was a full day of filming and pictures.
Destination Polaris Day 2 (Wednesday)
Early bird gets the worm. We hit it head on, on day 2 of filming, and this is where things got exciting. We wanted to build something that was fun for the whole family and that is why we chose the king of offroad, the Ranger Crew XP 1000, not only that but we are located in East Texas where the wild game is pretty impressive, so we had to make this machine Polaris Pursuit Camo. So, the installation of the panels started, and the accessories fell in as well.
Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Northstar Edition Suspension
This was a long time coming for us here at Thumper. So, we built a long travel kit for the Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000, and this was the first launch for it, we wanted it to be able to tackle some very serious trails, speeds and sharp turns, or anything it may come across. A Polaris Ranger Crew boxed arm will give you increased torsional strength for the strongest control arm design possible. There is more to a Thumper Fab boxed control arm than meets the eye. Underneath the steel cladding is a skeleton design that adds strength exactly where you need it and saves weight. Strength is important but unnecessary weight increases your unsprung mass and reduces your shock’s ability to compensate. Full body skid plate! Plenty of ground clearance. The Thumper Fab design adds strength and reduces weight for optimal ride quality.
While being extremely focused on the ride quality, from the control arms themselves to the heavy-duty tie rode and Zbroz Racing shocks, which will enhance the ride and deliver the outstanding performance in the Polaris Ranger Crew, for an example like "A Cadillac".
Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 Thumper Bumper
This was one of the very first things we were known for. Our Thumper Bumpers are what sets us apart from the others. For instance, our both our front and rear bumpers come CNC Laser cut winch ready, with a 3,500lb or 4,500lb synthetic rope Warn winch option. So of course, we threw on a front and rear bumper. Massive bull bar on the front bumper delivering maximum protection. 2 Winches is a MUST, but thats not all. You need all the light you can get when out in the dark. Rear bumper has the light option of a 6" LED light ready bar Strength! Style!
Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 Northstar Edition Wheels and Tires
On the Ranger we went with a 35" After Shock XD Arisun, which is best for trail riding, rock crawling, rough terrain for the ranger, sitting on a 15" Raceline Bead lock wheel.
Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 Nortstar Edition Kolpin Accessories
They have some great accessories for the Ranger, from the dry storage bags to the ratcheting rhino grips to the guardian storage box, these products work great with the Ranger Crew XP 1000 build allowing more storage and accessories to be added to the bed rack. Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 Northstar Edition 3D SCAN
Our 3D Scan allows us to pick up those precise suspension points so we have an exact model of those points and exact model of the machine so when we start 3D modeling, we can get how that suspension is going to be able to travel and interact with the machine and make sure we have a perfect fit for the Ranger Crew XP 1000.
Ranger XP 1000 BIG NERF RAILS
These provide an extreme amount of protection for the machine, while also allowing you to reach up on the roof for your gear and other accessories you may not be able to reach. This build is a Ranger Crew XP 1000 NorthStar Edition, so the full Polaris Pursuit Camo doors need the maximum protection and with these Nerf Rails you will get the much-needed maximum protection to those doors.
Quad Shop Customs
QSC started in 2009 based in Wisconsin. The company primarily does business designing and manufacturing clutch kits for belt driven 4x4 ATV's and other off-road vehicles. They have several different options to tune the clutch and get it dialed in for larger wheels like we are running this Ranger Crew XP 1000.
Ranger XP 1000 Rockford Fosgate Audio
Rockford has been a partner from the very beginning. We utilize them exclusively in all of our audio roofs. High quality is what we strive on, and Rockford is very well known for that. Coming in with an explosive Stage 5 Audio Kit to really put a different groove in the riding experience. So, we went in and combined a Level 5 Audio roof with the Stage 5 Rockford Fosgate Audio Kit which is the best sound quality on the market. We had the one and only 'Sarge' come in and be a part of this build. He handles all of the motorsport's sales on the consumers side of the whole United States. The kit consists of the front speaker pods which are 2-6.5 M2, which tuck comfortably under the dash of the Ranger and also the 10" M2 Sub-Woofer under the front and back seat with a contoured fit. All have the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) lights in the Rockford speakers. The power behind these speakers is run by a M5-1500-Watt Rockford Amplifier which is pre-Tuned, ready to install and 100% plug and play, and it's made for the elements this Ranger Crew XP 1000 will be in.

Paired with the Rockford Stage 5 Kit this ranger will have the best of the best. As 'Sarge' says, this audio is on steroids. This Thumper Fab Audio Roof is the Biggest, Baddest audio roof we have EVER made. It is on another LEVEL. 360-degree surround LED package and 10-Rockford Fosgate Speakers. Added storage with the roof rack on top. Consisting of 2-10" M1 Marine grade Subwoofer, 4-M1 Marine Speakers, 4-M1-6" Marine Speakers and a TM1000X5ad Marine 1,000 Watts 5 Channel Amplifier. This XP 1000 Northstar Edition is ride command, what's unique about our roofs is, we are the ONLY roof on the market that can tie directly into the Ride Command system giving all the features of it in the pro shield cab system. DAY 3-RIDE THE RANCH
Caddo Lake, just north of Thumper Fab, is a STUNNING. It is a 25,400 Acre Lake/Bayou on the border between Texas and Louisiana in northern Harrison County and southern Marion County in Texas and western Caddo Parish in Louisiana. A beautiful place to ride and just have fun with family and friends. It was just the perfect place to reveal this Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Northstar Edition.
This build turned out better than we could have ever imagined, but now the ball was in our court. We wanted to test out the Long Travel and see how the machine would perform on the back roads and in a little mud.
So, we loaded the 6-passneger Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 full of equipment, and we hit the trails. We found some tough terrain and some sticky mud but with that massive front bumper with the winch easily pulled us out, but that is what makes this fun. It wasn't no time we were back on the trail and the mud was flying.
The Polaris Ranger XP 1000 performed phenomenally, with all day comfort and we were all smiles by the end of Day 3. It was a week of fun, excitement, and great filming and riding the ranch.
